For this Post Construction Photography project we were hired by the contractor Shannon Construction. This particular project did not require progress videography or construction videography. We have done projects in Pennsylvania and other states for the past five years with several contractors including Petrie Construction and The Dermot Company. This project required ALL PRO USA to document the Terminal 21 Apartments after Shannon Construction had completed renovations to a building that used to be used as dorms for the Art Institute that used to be in downtown Pittsburgh. Shannon worked to completely overhaul the living spaces into a beautiful apartment complex. These apartments come complete with amenities such as a gym, lounge, mini bowling alley, and a few other general gathering and work spaces.

The Photos below show how this project was broken down for the Contractor:

ALL PRO USA has been contracted by  Shannon Construction to document other projects as well, we have also documented renovations done to the Airport Mall at the Pittsburgh International Airport. The team from ALL PRO USA that took on this project utilized state of the art DSLR and mirror less cameras to capture the pictures required by the contractor. One of the challenges that we faced while working on this particular job was ensuring that nothing would compromise the shots. What this means is making sure that no equipment or people compromise the look of each shot. We used a technique called long exposure photography to make sure that the scenes were properly lit. This meant that communication was key between apartment staff and the team of photographers to ensure that none of the shots were compromised. The other challenge that we faced was varying lighting throughout the areas we documented. We utilized flashes, other light sources, and HDR Photography to ensure proper lighting to make sure we get the best shot possible.
The focus of the photography for this project was to capture all aspects of the Terminal 21 Apartments that have been renovated. The contractor asked us to showcase the rooms and everything that they had to offer potential residents. They also asked to cover all of the amenities that would be offered to residents that decided to call the apartments home including the duck pin bowling alley and the gym. ALL PRO USA documented and organized the photos in a logical manner so that the contractor could quickly find a particular image should they need it. We categorized the images by particular area of the apartments that was being covered. This made it easy on the contractor to find specific images based on the part of the apartments they wanted to see.
Shown below are other shots covering various areas of the apartment complex. Each area was covered meticulously by a two person photographer team for the contractor. The focus of this project was to document and depict all of the renovations made to the building by the contractor.
