The objective for this video was to provide a non biased pre construction video record of the conditions of the road surfaces, curbs, landscaping and building surfaces prior to the start of construction for a new condominium. The video was recorded in 4K with a professional Sony A7sIII Mirrorless Video Camera and a Sony 20mm wide angle lens. The camera was mounted to the rooftop of an Infinity QX-80. This elevated view provided for excellent video perspectives of the Waterside grounds.
The recording was performed using a two person team of driver and camera operator. The interior of the vehicle was equipped with a video monitor and controls for panning and tilting the camera as the video was recorded. During the recording a vocal narration was performed to assist the viewer of the video to better understand the content. The overall conditions of the road surfaces, curbs, sidewalks, brickwork, landscaping and buildings was excellent. At the conclusion of construction it will be easy to make a comparison of the pre construction and post construction conditions.
As always we recommend having a post construction video performed at the conclusion of construction. Using a pre construction video and post construction video to compare the conditions will in most cases makes costly litigation unnecessary. There are a total of 14 videos that are organized by the street views and building names.
The video has been copied to USB Drives with multiple copies sent to Waterside Master Association. Copies are retained at ALL PRO USA for a minimum of one year. An online Viewing Gallery is also included for viewing, sharing and downloading the videos.
As you can see from this video report, photographs may be lifted from the 4K video and provide a good resolution should you decide you would like to have digital or printed photos. Should litigation result from the construction, ALL PRO USA will provide the service of an expert witness to testify at a deposition in person or zoom to testify to the integrity of the video provided. Litigation is less likely with a pre construction video that has been properly produced using state to the art technology.
