ALL PRO USA has had an extremely busy last few weeks of August and start to the month of September. In the last few weeks we have had a lot of travel to keep up with. Projects have taken us from Central Pennsylvania near Harrisburg to Key Biscayne near Miami, Florida. Safety for the team is the number one priority when we are on the move. We travel with hand sanitizers and masks for all team members to ensure that proper procedures are followed to keep everyone healthy. The projects that we have been traveling for include post construction documentation for a newly renovated pool area at a luxury five star hotel, a over head transmission line project in the central part of Pennsylvania in Dauphin County, and an underground transmission line project in Haymarket, Virginia.
The project that took us to Florida was to document the pool renovations done at the Ritz Carlton Hotel . This project was for a contractor that has used ALL PRO USA in the past they are Petrie Construction. We completed this project quickly to make sure we could showcase the work that they had done to the pool area of the Ritz Carlton in Key Biscayne. Visit our Photography Portfolio to see samples of our experience in this type of work.
The Second of these three projects that I want to talk about is the under ground transmission project that took place in Haymarket, Virginia. The team drove down together and met with the project manager to get a tour of the sites for the job. This was a familiar project for us because we had already captured the Pre Construction Video for this project earlier this year. This project had the team working side by side with Wilson Construction out of Canby, Oregon, Laney Construction and Dominion Energy. This project posed a challenge in its shear scale and the amount of people that came together to complete this part of the project. The portion of the project we documented was going underneath Interstate 66 that runs past Haymarket. Wilson Construction had asked us to come back down and document the process that they used to install the first steps of an underground transmission line. Communication was key for the team to complete the project safely and properly document the process. Included in this communication was take off and landing notifications for our drone that we used to document the project. Our FAA certified drone pilots had an extra step when they wanted to take flight for a shot, each take off required communication with Dominion directly via email. Visit our Transmission Line Page for more samples or more info on our work in this field.
The third of the projects to highlight was a project near Harrisburg in central Pennsylvania. The project had two parts, the team headed out to complete the first portion of the project. The project was a overhead transmission line that needed documentation before the contractor started replacing the towers. The first part of the project was about 126 existing structures and was documented in three ways. The first two went hand in hand, the team took turns walking the line to document the towers from the ground. They did this utilizing handheld video and still photography. For the video it was shot using a Nikon Z6 mirrorless camera mounted to a DJI Ronin Gimbal. This helped to stabilize the shot and provide smooth video to the contractor. The handheld still photography was shot using a Canon 5D Mark IV. The third form of documentation was aerial videography. Utilizing a DJI Mavic 2 Pro the team documented the towers from the air for the entire length of the line.
Although ALL PRO USA found themselves extremely busy in the past couple weeks all of the projects were completed successfully. The team ensured comprehensive and detailed documentation for each of the Contractors. Each project was completed with confidence and safety at the forefront.
