This particular project did not require progress videography or construction videography. We have done projects in North Carolina and other states for the past five years with several contractors. This project required ALL PRO USA to document an AMC movie theater after the contractor had made renovations to the existing building. We were asked to capture all of the screens, their seating, exterior shots of the theater, concessions stands and exteriors of the screen rooms. This project brought ALL PRO USA to North Carolina to visit the AMC North Lake Mall in Charlotte, North Carolina.

ALL PRO USA has been repeatedly contracted by Petrie Construction to document AMC Movie Theaters in Lincoln Square, Manhattan, Pompano Beach, Florida and Buffalo, New York. The team from ALL PRO USA that took on this project utilized state of the art DSLR cameras to capture the pictures required by the contractor. As photographers we face two big challenges when undertaking these types of jobs. The first is we only have a few short hours to capture all of the pictures that are required by the contractor all while the Theater is preparing to open the doors for business. This requires both speed and accuracy as we move through the project and get the shots that we need. This is all taking place while theater staff is mobilizing for the day to get the doors open for business. This means that communication is key to ensure that shots are not compromised by equipment being in the shot. Another Challenge that we face as photographers is lighting in the Movie Theaters themselves. To ensure that we get the best shot and provide the contractor what they are looking for. We use a variety of different methods including flash units and a technique called HDR Photography.
The focus of the photography for this project was to capture all aspects of the theater and the screening rooms housed inside of it. The contractor asked us to showcase all of the seating, screens, entrances to the screening room, lobby, concessions and exteriors of the theater. ALL PRO USA documented and organized the photos in a logical manner so that the contractor could quickly find a particular image should they need it. We categorized the images by screen number and exterior shots to make them easily viewable.
